Two, half-day Lenten retreats will be from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 9 (Part I), and Saturday, March 16 (Part II), in St. Robert's Parish Center. The topic for the retreat is “The Jewish Roots of Holy Week” presented by Deacon Jim Fourcade. Breakfast on each retreat day will start at 8 a.m. with the keynote speaker starting at 9 a.m. This retreat will explore the connections between Jesus’ final days and specific passages in the Old Testament directly quoted by the writers of the Gospels and Old Testament elements that are mirrored in the Gospels. Join us as we examine Jesus as the sacrificial Lamb and Jesus’ role in fulfilling the words of the prophets. All are welcome! Please place your name on the sign-up sheet in the narthex at church if you plan on attending and indicate if you will be joining us for breakfast so we can get a head count for supplies. 

Se realizarán dos retiros de Cuaresma de medio día de 8 a. m. al mediodía el sábado 9 de marzo (Parte I) y el sábado 16 de marzo (Parte II) en el Centro Parroquial St. Robert. El tema del retiro es “Las raíces judías de la Semana Santa” presentado por el diácono Jim Fourcade. El desayuno de cada día de retiro comenzará a las 8 a. m. y el orador principal comenzará a las 9 a. m. Este retiro explorará las conexiones entre los últimos días de Jesús y pasajes específicos del Antiguo Testamento citados directamente por los escritores de los Evangelios y los elementos del Antiguo Testamento que son reflejado en los evangelios.
